What are learning disabilities?
Learning disabilities are neurological differences that affect how individuals acquire, organize, retain, understand, or use verbal and nonverbal information — despite having average or above-average thinking and reasoning abilities.

Learning differences can affect more than just academics. They may show up in:
Emotional wellbeing
Social interactions
Memory
Language processing
Organization & planning
Some students appear to be doing fine academically but are working much harder than expected — or just barely keeping up. That gap between effort and outcome is often a clue that something underlying is at play.
When to consider an
assessment
A psychoeducational assessment may be helpful when there are:
Inconsistent performance across subjects or settings
Ongoing academic challenges
Work that requires unusually high effort to maintain results
