Post-Secondary Assessment

A post-secondary assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that documents an individual's cognitive, academic, and/or functional abilities to support planning for college, university, or other advanced training programs.

It clarifies learning strengths and challenges and is often used to access accommodations in post-secondary settings.

When to consider an assessment

A post-secondary assessment may be helpful if you:

  • Have a history of learning or attention difficulties

  • Struggle with reading, writing, math, or test performance

  • Find organization, time management, or workload demands consistently challenging

  • Previously had accommodations and need updated documentation

  • Want to better understand your learning profile to support academic success

What the assessment
looks like

Post-secondary assessments follow my standard five-step process: intake, direct testing, data collection, report preparation, and feedback session.
