Post-Secondary Assessment
A post-secondary assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that documents an individual's cognitive, academic, and/or functional abilities to support planning for college, university, or other advanced training programs.
It clarifies learning strengths and challenges and is often used to access accommodations in post-secondary settings.
When to consider an assessment
A post-secondary assessment may be helpful if you:
Have a history of learning or attention difficulties
Struggle with reading, writing, math, or test performance
Find organization, time management, or workload demands consistently challenging
Previously had accommodations and need updated documentation
Want to better understand your learning profile to support academic success
